Combined, Skoda Auto Volkswagen India Pvt Ltd (SAVWIPL) reported total sales of 9,000 units, up from 8,693 units in February 2025. This also marked an increase from 8,449 units sold in January 2026.

Skoda Auto India achieved total sales of 6,361 units in February 2026. This represented a 13.94% year-on-year (YoY) growth compared to 5,583 units in February 2025. Sales also rose 10.84% month-on-month (MoM) from 5,739 units in January 2026. Volkswagen India reported 2,639 units sold in February 2026, a 15.14% YoY decline from 3,110 units in February 2025. MoM sales also dropped 2.62% from 2,710 units in January 2026.

Skoda Models
The Skoda Kylaq led the brand’s sales with 4,532 units in February 2026. This marked a 24.64% YoY growth from 3,636 units in February 2025 and a 40.75% MoM increase from 3,220 units in January 2026. The Slavia sedan followed with 1,674 units, up 85.79% YoY from 901 units in February 2025. However, Slavia's sales dropped 13.98% MoM from 1,946 units in January 2026.
The Skoda Kodiaq recorded 146 units sold, a 1360% YoY surge from 10 units in February 2025. MoM, Kodiaq sales rose 5.04% from 139 units in January 2026. The Skoda Kushaq saw a sharp decline, with only 9 units sold in February 2026, down 99.13% YoY from 1,035 units and 97.93% MoM from 434 units. Skoda Octavia and Superb reported no sales in February 2026.
Volkswagen Models
The Volkswagen Virtus remained the brand’s top seller with 1,804 units in February 2026. This was a 1.8% YoY decrease from 1,837 units in February 2025 and a 4.09% MoM drop from 1,881 units in January 2026. The Taigun followed with 698 units, reflecting a 45.08% YoY decline from 1,271 units and an 11.65% MoM decrease from 790 units. The Taigun facelift is under development and will bring updates to the model.
The new VW Tayron three-row SUV achieved 113 unit sales, up from 5 units in January 2026. The VW Tiguan posted 23 units, a 1050% YoY rise from 2 units in February 2025, but a 32.35% MoM drop from 34 units in January 2026. The Volkswagen Golf GTI recorded 1 unit sold in February 2026.
