What could have been better?The 2025 Golf GTI is powered by a 2.0-litre TSI turbo-petrol engine that generates a power output of 265 PS and a torque of 370 Nm. The engine is coupled with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission (DCT) that enables the Golf GTI to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.9 seconds and achieve a top speed of 267 km/h.
The exterior design elements within the 2025 Golf GTI include IQ.LIGHT Matrix LED headlights, an illuminated VW logo at the bonnet’s edge, a wide honeycomb grille, and a distinctive red GTI badge. The design cues in the sides of the GTI are 18-inch alloy wheels, and the rear of the Golf GTI flaunts stylish LED tail lamps, twin chrome exhaust pipes, a roof spoiler, and a shark fin antenna.
Interior & FeaturesComing to the interiors and features within the Golf GTI, the design elements are its flat-bottom leather steering wheel with red stitching and metallic accents & upholstered seats in a blend of leather and fabric. The tech features include a 2.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, along with a 0.25-inch digital instrument cluster. The other highlights include 30-colour ambient lighting, a panoramic sunroof, three-zone climate control with rear AC vents, wireless charging, and multiple USB Type-C ports.
The safety features within the Golf GTI include seven airbags, including a centre front airbag, electronic stability control (ESC), tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), ISOFIX child seat mounts, and a comprehensive Level 2 ADAS suite. The advanced driver aids are adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, autonomous emergency braking with pedestrian and cyclist detection, rear traffic alert, and a rear-view camera. Other comfort elements include supportive seats, a spacious and airy cabin with large windows, and rear AC vents.
