Suzuki Motorcycle India achieves record FY 2025-26 sales and expands network across India
Suzuki Motorcycle India has closed FY 2025-26 with its highest-ever annual sales of about 14.39 lakh units, registering a strong 15% year-on-year growth.

Suzuki Motorcycle India Private Limited (SMIPL) reported a record-breaking fiscal year for 2025-26, with total sales reaching 14,39,415 units. This marks the highest annual sales in the company's history and reflects a 15% increase over the 12,56,155 units sold in FY 2024-25. The company achieved this growth through consistent monthly gains, expansion into electric vehicles, and a retail presence in every Indian state.

Annual Sales and Revenue Growth
SMIPL's domestic sales for FY 2025-26 reached 11,74,874 units, up 12% from 10,45,662 units the previous year. Export volumes grew even faster, rising 26% from 2,10,493 units to 2,64,541 units. The company also reported record spare parts revenue of Rs 10,434 million, an 18% increase over the previous fiscal year.
Monthly performance in the second half of the year was especially strong. In February 2026, SMIPL sold 1,23,299 units, a 37% rise from 89,966 units in February 2025. Domestic sales for February reached 1,01,071 units, up 38% year-on-year, while exports increased 33% to 22,228 units. Spare parts revenue for the month stood at Rs 893.6 million, also up 18%.
Product Launches and Network Expansion

In February 2026, SMIPL launched an updated Suzuki Access with a single-channel anti-lock braking system. The company expanded its retail network by opening a dealership in Dehradun and its first outlet in Gangtok, Sikkim. With these additions, SMIPL established a presence in all Indian states before the fiscal year ended.
In March 2026, SMIPL recorded total sales of 1,28,227 units, a 2% increase over March 2025. Domestic retail sales for the month grew 11% to 1,08,661 units, while exports rose to 22,830 units from 20,188 units the previous year. Domestic dispatches for March were 1,05,397 units, similar to the previous year's figure.
Operational Milestones and Customer Engagement
During FY 2025-26, SMIPL crossed a cumulative production milestone of 10 million units manufactured in India. The company entered the electric vehicle segment with the Suzuki e-ACCESS, its first electric scooter in India. It also introduced the Suzuki Access with ABS and the Access Ride Connect TFT Edition.
SMIPL began construction of a new manufacturing plant in Kharkhoda, Haryana, to increase production capacity. By year-end, the retail network had grown to 1,240 outlets nationwide.
The company organized several customer engagement events, including Suzuki Matsuri, Suzuki Motofest, V-Strom Experience Days, GIXXER Pit Stop, and the Suzuki Access Mileage Contest. It also conducted its first V-Strom customer expedition to the Himalayas and set a record for a Suzuki Access ride from Kuttanad, Kerala, to Komic, Himachal Pradesh.
