Tata Curvv EV Deliveries Begin: India's First Electric SUV-Coupe
Tata Motors recently launched the Curvv EV, India's pioneering SUV-coupe electric vehicle. Deliveries for this new addition to Tata's EV range have started, featuring dual battery options and cutting-edge technology.

With the introduction of the Curvv EV, India's first SUV-coupe electric car, Tata Motors has increased the variety of electric vehicles in its lineup. Preorders for the Curvv EV opened on August 12 and the vehicle made its premiere on August 7, 2024. On August 14th, prospective purchasers could schedule a test drive of the vehicle. The first of these cutting-edge electric SUVs were delivered on August 26, 2024. The Curvv EV comes with two 45kWh and 55kWh battery pack configurations and is offered in three variants: Creative, Accomplished, and Empowered+. The price range (introductory, ex-showroom) is Rs. 17.49 Lakh to Rs. 21.99 Lakh.
Embodying Tata's most recent design philosophy, the Curvv EV stands out with its striking appearance and many noteworthy features. Its exterior highlights include a closed-off front grille, split LED headlamps with LED light bars, connected LED tail lamps, flush door handles, and 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels. The sloping roofline emphasizes its unique SUV-coupe styling.

- 9-speaker JBL sound system with a 320W subwoofer

- Gesture-enabled powered tailgate
Six airbags come standard, along with a 360-degree camera, an automatic parking brake, front and rear parking sensors, and a Level 2 ADAS suite with 20 functions.
The Curvv EV's powertrain options include a 45 kWh battery pack producing 150 hp and 215 Nm torque, and a 55 kWh pack generating 167 hp and 215 Nm torque. These offer claimed ranges of 502 km and 585 km respectively. Fast charging capabilities allow for 10% to 80% charge in about 40 minutes using a 70 kW DC charger.
Available in five color options - Virtual Sunrise, Pure Grey, Pristine White, Flame Red, and Empowered Oxide - the Tata Curvv EV represents a significant addition to India's growing electric vehicle market.
