Tata’s newly launched Harrier EV Stealth Edition has made its entry into the Indian market, with its numerous features and elements which are a sight to see. The newest edition’s pricing range starts from INR 28.24 lakhs according to the ex-showroom prices and can reach up to INR 30.23 lakhs. Even though the actual prices of the Stealth Edition may vary according to the region you might live in, let’s have a glance at what the Harrier EV Stealth Edition has to offer.
Design and Styling
Talking about the Stealth Edition’s exterior design, the design elements include a matte black paint and finishing, all the chrome elements being replaced with a glossy black trim (grille, badges and detailing), R19 piano black alloy wheels with aero inserts and an exclusive ‘stealth’ badging. Seemingly, the interior of this edition is stealthy as well. The interiors feature ‘Carbon Noir’ leatherette seats, a blacked-out dashboard with piano black accents on the centre console, HVAC vents and switches, and premium upholstery in black.
Variants
The Harrier EV Stealth Edition is available in 4 variants, which are the Empowered 75 Stealth, Empowered 75 Stealth ACFC, Empowered 75 QWD Stealth, and Empowered 75 QWD Stealth ACFC. A point to be noted is that the ACFC variants offer additional charging capabilities.
Tech and Comfort Features
The tech elements within the Harrier EV Stealth Edition include a 14.5-inch Samsung Neo QLED touchscreen, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, built-in navigation with EV-specific features (spider range, charging station locator), and an in-car app suite (video, games, apps) powered by Harman.
The comfort features are its 6-way powered memory driver seat, dual-zone climate control, multi-mood ambient lighting (dashboard, sunroof, doors, and console), air purifier with AQI display, wireless phone charger, and electronically operated tailgate.
Other complimentary features include proximity-based lock/unlock (Digi Access), one remote key with 11 unique actions, a smartphone/smartwatch as a car key, sharing access remotely with secure controls, and a no-battery backup for peace of mind.
Battery and Performance
The Harrier EV Stealth Edition features a 75 kWh lithium-ion battery, and the drivetrain options are a rear-wheel drive option which generates a power output of 235 bhp and a torque of 315 Nm and an all-wheel drive option which generates a power output of 391 bhp and a torque of 504 Nm. The top speed of the stealth edition is 180 km/h.
Charging
DC Fast Charging: 120 kW
- Adds an approximate 250 km range in 15 minutes
- 20 to 80% charge in approximately 25 minutes
AC Charging: 3.3 kW or 7.2 kW options
- 10 to 100% charge in approximately 10.7 hours (7.2 kW charger)
Safety
The Harrier EV Stealth Edition’s numerous safety features include a level 2 ADAS with more than 22 assistance features (including Intelligent Speed Assist), 7 airbags, a 360-degree HD camera with transparent mode, a digital rear-view mirror with recording, blind spot monitoring, autonomous parking assistance, and E-Call/B-Call emergency assistance.
