Tata Motors has been implementing changes in the automotive industry. The first brand to implement full GST rate benefits for the better upliftment of the Indian consumer now has new offerings for the customers ahead of the festive season. As per the latest reports, the brand has recently launched the enhanced Tata Nexon EV Dark Edition and also updated the Nexon EV 45 range with the ADAS safety feature.
The Nexon 45 Range EV now comes with advanced safety features and style. The sub-4-meter compact SUV combines the Nexon EV's acclaimed electric performance with level-2 autonomous safety technologies. The vehicle is poised to deliver a safer and more premium driving experience for Indian EV customers. This launch marks Tata’s commitment to elevating electric mobility through innovation and style.
The latest iteration of the Tata Nexon EV 45 has now been upgraded to the ADAS suite configuration as a standard feature. This most recent safety feature will introduce semi-autonomous driving assistance within this package, which is hard to find in such a mid-range segment.
With the implementation of the new ASAD feature, the Nexon EV is among the few electric vehicles in India that come with such advanced safety offerings under this price bracket.
The Nexon EV 45 introduced ADAS for enhanced safety and comfort at a catered price bracket. The new ADAS system has the following essential features:
These technologies significantly enhance safety and reduce driver fatigue during city and highway drives.

With the introduction of the Dark Edition, Tata Motors is providing its customers with a stylish choice. The Nexon EV Dark Edition dazzles with its exclusive all-black exterior and cabin theme, merging aesthetic sophistication with smart tech upgrades like a 12.3-inch touchscreen and Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) charging and subtle modernity. Additional premium touches include rear sun blinds and a voice-assisted panoramic sunroof for enhanced comfort and convenience.
Safety is always the top priority for Tata Motors. In addition to ADAS, the Nexon EV comes with a 5-star Bharat NCAP safety rating. The car is equipped with six airbags, ABS with EBD, an electronic stability program, hill-hold assist, and rear parking sensors.
The Nexon EV 45 runs on a robust 45 kWh lithium-ion battery pack paired with a permanent magnet synchronous electric motor that produces 143 HP and 215 Nm of peak torque. The brand offers a commendable ARAI-certified range of about 350 km on a single charge. With a C75 real-world battery configuration, the car is capable of charging 20%-80% in just 40 minutes with 150 km worth of range.

Tata Motors has added various additions to the 45 line-up. For the 2025 season, the pricing of the Tata Nexon EV Empowered+ A variant is Rs 17.29 lakh. Whereas the Tata Nexon EV Empowered + A Dark Edition might cost you around Rs 17.49 Lakh. Then comes the top-of-the-line Nexon EV Red Dark Edition, priced at Rs 17.49 Lakh. All prices mentioned are ex-showroom, India.
With the Nexon EV Dark Edition featuring advanced ADAS and distinctive styling, Tata Motors reinforces its leadership in the Indian electric SUV market by blending state-of-the-art safety technologies with bold design.
