Tesla Expands Supercharger Network in India With New Navi Mumbai Location
Tesla has added a Supercharger station in Navi Mumbai, expanding its fast charging network to five locations in India. The Model Y, Tesla’s only offering in the country, can now charge faster at more points.

Tesla India has expanded its public fast charging network with a new Supercharger station in Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra. This addition increases the number of Tesla Supercharger locations in India to five, spread across three cities. The new charging facility is located at Nexus Seawoods Mall and is now operational.

Supercharger Network Details
The Navi Mumbai Supercharger station features four AC fast-chargers and four DC fast-chargers. This setup allows up to eight electric vehicles to charge simultaneously. The DC fast-chargers deliver up to 250kW, enabling Tesla Model Y drivers to add up to 275 kilometers of range in just 15 minutes. This rapid charging capability supports longer road trips for Tesla owners.
The Supercharger network remains exclusive to Tesla vehicles. Currently, the only Tesla model available in India is the Model Y, a coupe-SUV. Tesla plans to expand its Supercharger network further to accommodate growing demand.
Tesla Model Y Features and Pricing
The Tesla Model Y follows the brand’s minimalistic design language. The front features a connected LED light bar and vertically stacked LED headlamps. Its side profile includes flush-fit door handles, a coupe-like roofline, and 19-inch alloy wheels. The rear has a connected LED taillamp cluster, a cladded bumper, and a bootlid-integrated spoiler.
The Model Y comes equipped with a 16-inch touchscreen infotainment system, powered, heated, and ventilated front seats, an 8-inch touchscreen for rear passengers, a 9-speaker sound system, and a powered tailgate. Safety features include multiple airbags, a built-in dashcam, a 360-degree camera, electronic parking brake, and electronic stability control. Customers can opt for full self-driving capabilities for an additional Rs 6 lakh, which Tesla will introduce through a future software update.
Tesla offers the Model Y in two variants: Standard Range and Long Range. The Standard Range is priced at Rs 59.89 lakh, while the Long Range costs Rs 67.89 lakh (ex-showroom). The Model Y competes with other luxury electric vehicles in India, such as the BYD Sealion 7, Kia EV6, and Hyundai Ioniq 5.
