The upcoming Force Gurkha 5 door will sit above the three-door variant of the Gurkha. The Gurkha 5-door will be a straight rival to Mahindra’s forthcoming Thar 5-door which will be officially launched on August 15, 2024. Gurkha 5-Door Expected Design

The video of the Gurkha 5-door that emerged online reveals key details about the design of the upcoming lifestyle vehicle. The vehicle retains its boxy design which looks quite similar to the Mercedes Benz G-Class. However, the vehicle comes with a unique set of alloy wheels. Despite being a five-door variant, the vehicle gets smaller windows for the rear passengers when compared to the three-door variant’s long windows. Talking about the rear design, things haven’t much changed and the backside looks similar to the three-door variant with a spare wheel positioned at the centre.

Gurkha 5 Door To Come With 7 Seat Layout

The Gurkha five-door is expected to come with a 7-seat layout as it is visible in the video. So, it may have a seating capacity for 7 people including the driver. There's also a possibility of the introduction of a big touchscreen infotainment system at the dashboard’s centre. Some other things that are visible in the video are a front seat armrest with storage and some of Gurkha’s signature styling elements retained from the three-door variant.

Gurkha 5 Door: Engine

The Gurkha 5-door is expected to derive the same 2.6-litre diesel engine from its 3-door variant. This powerhouse comes mated to a 5-speed manual with a 4X4 drivetrain and manages to generate a maximum power output of 89 bhp and a peak torque of 250 Nm.
