The Skoda Octavia RS has already created a buzz in the Indian automotive market. Just days after the bookings commenced, all 100 units were sold out immediately. Now, the Czech brand has officially launched the much-awaited car, the Skoda Octavia RS, in the Indian market. The 2025 iteration of the Octavia RS is priced at Rs 49.99 (ex-showroom) in India. The new-generation RS blends everyday practicality with a strong motorsport-inspired design and thrilling performance.

After nearly two years of absence since 2023. The car was discontinued due to the implementation of strict BS6 Phase 2 emission norms. The 2025 Skoda Octavia RS will be the fourth-generation model, returning with the iconic RS badge after more than 5 years. For Indian customers, the vehicle will be a CBU unit and will be limited to just 100 units in the first batch. Here’s everything you need to know about the newly launched Octavia RS.

In terms of design, the car evokes nostalgia with its bold, aggressive stance, while maintaining its athletic nature outside of the road. The car signifies its sporty elegance through LED matrix headlights integrated with dynamic LED DRLs. It features authentic LED taillamps, a balanced-out grille, larger air intakes, and gloss black exterior accents that accentuate its dynamic character.

The all-new Octavia RS sits 15 mm lower than the standard Octavia and is equipped with 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels. A sleek rear spoiler enhances performance while maintaining aerodynamic stability at high speeds. For the Indian customers, the car comes in 5 different colors. These colors are Mamba Green, Candy White, Race Blue, Magic Black, and Velvet Red.

While getting inside the car, the Octavia RS tries to balance between the sporty DNA and comfort. The cabin is incorporated with Suedia leather upholstery with red contrast stitching within the package. All seats come with massage and memory functions, creating a cockpit-like atmosphere. The dashboard comprises a 13-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 10-inch virtual cockpit with integrated wireless Bluetooth connectivity.

Furthermore, the car offers powered front seats with a massage facility, triple-zone climate control, and ambient lighting. The 600-liter boot space ensures practicality remains intact, making the Octavia RS suitable for both spirited drives and long tours alike.

Under the hood, the 2025 Octavia RS will be powered by a 2.0L 4-cylinder, turbo-petrol TSI engine that is capable of producing 265 HP of power and 370 Nm of torque. This engine is robust and is paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox that sends power to the front wheels. The sedan can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in just 6.4 seconds and boasts a top speed of 250 kmph, making it one of the fastest sedans in its class.
