As per the recent report, the latest test mule has been spotted in camouflaged test runs, igniting anticipation for its upcoming facelift version. Based on the recent test mule, we can infer that the car will feature a refreshed design, premium cabin comfort, and improved efficiency. With the introduction of the new GST 2.0 tax reforms, the car might be priced at a competitive price tag, targeting both urban and rural adventurers.

New Exterior Styling

The recent spy shot that surfaced on the internet reveals that the car will feature a striking new body. These new design cues look reminiscent of the iconic Land Rover Defender. A few subtle design lines are modified to be more refined. The front fascia of the car possessed LED headlamps integrated with DRLs. The rest of the silhouette is not changed.

The SUV will likely roll on bold twin 5-spoke alloy wheels, maintaining the rear’s signature side-hinged door and tailgate-mounted spare wheel, now set higher for a sleeker finish. With its boxy and rugged appeal, the car might be equipped with 15-inch tires with a 215-section width to attain more grip while driving fast on the road.

Interior and Features

Due to heavy camouflage, the interiors of the car were not properly available. However, we can assure you that with new subtle exterior changes, the cabin will also receive a host of features. Considering its predecessors, the dashboard will be revamped and boast advanced features such as a larger 10.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Android Auto, and Apple CarPlay.

Furthermore, the vehicle includes automatic climate control, a wireless charging pad, a ventilated seat, and a keyless go system. Safety is also getting a boost, with 6 airbags earmarked as standard for occupant protection.

Mahindra Bolero Neo: Engine Specs

Mahindra Bolero Neo

The upcoming 2025 Mahindra Bolero Neo is likely to retain its mechanical powertrain from its predecessor. Under the hood, the vehicle will be powered by a 1.5L 3-cylinder mKawk 100 Turbocharged diesel engine that revs up to 100 HP of power and 260 Nm of torque. This engine will be paired with a 5-speed manual transmission system as standard.

However, an option for the automatic transmission will also be available for the Indian customers. According to platform upgrade rumors, Mahindra's new "NFA" flexible architecture may make its debut soon, opening the door for even more sophisticated handling and possibly hybrid or electric versions in the future.

Modern SUV Rivals

The 2025 iteration of Bolero Neo will be positioned above the standard Bolero and below the Bolero Neo Plus. The upcoming vehicle will strengthen Mahindra’s presence in the sub-4-meter, ladder-frame SUV segment, standing toe-to-toe with rivals such as the Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, and Skoda Kylaq, while retaining its unmatched authenticity.

Conclusion

As Mahindra refines one of its most enduring emblems. Let us see how this modernized symbol will strike a balance between innovation and tradition in a quickly changing automotive industry. This spotting signals the advent of a more versatile, stylish Bolero Neo. The upcoming Bolero will be ready to reignite interest among drivers seeking a genuine Indian SUV experience.
