This launch is part of the brand’s ‘2026 Unleashed’ campaign, which has seen several new models and updates in recent months. The Triumph Speed Twin 1200 Cafe Racer Edition revives the large-capacity twin-cylinder cafe racer segment for the brand. This follows the discontinuation of the Triumph Thruxton 1200. The motorcycle features classic cafe racer styling, including clip-on handlebars and a distinctive dual-tone green-and-silver paint scheme. A color-matched headlight cowl and a quilted tan leather seat further enhance its premium appearance.

Under the bodywork, the bike uses the same 1,200cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine as the standard Speed Twin 1200. This engine produces 105 HP and 112 Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed gearbox. The Cafe Racer Edition comes equipped with a bi-directional quickshifter as standard, a feature not common across Triumph’s modern classic range.

Equipment and Pricing Details

The motorcycle shares several components with the Speed Twin 1200 RS. These include fully adjustable Öhlins suspension, Brembo monobloc brakes, and Metzeler Racetec RR K3 tyres. The electronics suite and rider aids remain unchanged from the RS variant.

The Speed Twin 1200 Cafe Racer Edition is priced at Rs 17.99 lakh (ex-showroom), which is higher than the standard Speed Twin 1200 RS priced at Rs 16.78 lakh. The price premium is due to the unique paint scheme, the quilted leather seat, the limited production run, and a certificate of authenticity provided with each unit.
