TVS will be expanding its electric vehicle lineup with a new, simpler variant of the iQube, aiming to reach a broader customer base by offering affordability without compromising quality and features.

Key Highlights:
TVS is known in the electric vehicle market for its iQube offering, which it is planning to expand with a simpler variant, to cater the wide range of customers. The company has shown interest in introducing an entry-level variant of iQube soon in the Indian market.
As the variant is expected to be a simple entry-level version of existing iQube, we can expect the scooter to come with less features and a small battery pack. This move must be considered as a smart attempt by TVS to bring down the cost of iQube for more buyers and constant sales.
The move by TVS can be considered a result of influence by the ongoing price slashed by many other automotive companies due to the end of the FAME 2 subsidies.
At present, TVS is offering iQube in two variants- standard and S. The standard variant gets a 5-inch full-colour TFT display, on the other hand, the S variant has got a 7-inch bigger TFT display. On can find the rear dual hydraulic springs adjustable in iQube S variant only.
At present TVS iQube Standard variant is offered at Rs 1.19 (ex-showroom), and iQube S variant is offered at 1.29 Lakh (ex-showroom). We can expect the new variant of iQube to be priced around Rs 90,000 to 1 lakh (ex-showroom), considering the scooter to offer less features and affordability.
