TVS launches Jupiter ZX Drum SmartXonnect: What’s New And Different?

The new TVS Jupiter ZX Drum with SmartXonnect technology is now available from TVS Motor Company. The price is Rs 84,468 (ex-showroom Delhi). The Jupiter comes in two attractive colours, Straight Blue and Olive Gold.

Features

The Jupiter has TVS SmartXonnect technology that enables better bluetooth connectivity. It has a digital cluster that shows turn-by-turn navigation, voice assistance, call and SMS alerts. It also has a USB charging port, retractable hooks for carrying bags, external fuel cap and an underseat storage space of 21 litres.

Specifications

The Jupiter has a 109.7cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine that meets BS-6 standards. It produces 8 bhp at 7,500 rpm and 8.8 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm. It has a CVT transmission. The Jupiter competes with Hero Xoom, Honda Dio and others.

Comparison with old model

The new model has TVS SmartXonnect technology that allows enhanced bluetooth connectivity. It comes with a digital cluster that serves functions such as turn-by-turn navigation, voice assistance, call and SMS alerts. The old model had an analogue instrument console without any connectivity features.

The new model is available in two colours - Starlight Blue and Olive Gold. The old model was available in only one colour - Starlight Blue.

The new model is priced at Rs 84,468 (ex-showroom Delhi). The old model was priced at Rs 82,165 (ex-showroom Delhi).

The rest of the specifications and features are identical for both models. They have the same 109.7cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine that produces 7.88PS and 8.8Nm. They also have the same 130mm drum brakes at both ends, USB charging port, retractable hooks, external fuel cap and 21 litres of underseat storage space.
