TVS Launches 2026 Apache RTR 160 4V Range with Enhanced Features and New Variants

TVS Motor Company has launched the 2026 Apache RTR 160 4V range in India, introducing new premium features as standard across all variants. The updated lineup includes two new variants alongside the existing top-spec model. Prices start at Rs. 1,25,440 for the Single Channel ABS variant, Rs. 1,30,690 for the Dual Channel ABS with USD variant, and Rs. 1,37,440 for the top USD with TFT and Traction Control variant. All prices are ex-showroom Delhi.

Key Features and Hardware Upgrades

The 2026 Apache RTR 160 4V now features a Class-D projector headlamp with LED daytime running lights, improving night-time visibility. The all-LED lighting setup, including LED turn indicators, is standard across the range, enhancing the motorcycle's road presence. TVS has also equipped all variants with an assist and slipper clutch, which increases comfort during daily rides and smoothens downshifts.

The base Single Channel ABS variant comes with telescopic suspension, single-channel ABS, and a digital LCD console. It is available in Matte Black and Racing Red. The mid-spec Dual Channel ABS with USD variant adds upside-down forks, dual-channel ABS, adjustable levers, and the same digital LCD cluster. This variant offers Matte Black, Granite Grey, and Pearl White color options. The top USD with TFT and Traction Control variant retains the upside-down forks and adjustable levers but adds traction control and a 5-inch TFT cluster with TVS SmartXonnect. It is available in Matte Black, Racing Red, and Marine Blue.

Performance and Technology

The engine continues to deliver 17.3bhp, making the Apache RTR 160 4V the most powerful motorcycle in its class. The throttle system is paired with three ride modes: Sport, Urban, and Rain, allowing riders to adjust performance based on conditions. Additional features include radial tyres, TVS SmartXonnect with turn-by-turn navigation and call alerts, and a hydroformed handlebar designed to improve steering precision.
