TVS Launches New Model: Apache RTR 160 Racing Edition Debuts at ₹1.28 Lakh

TVS Motor, the Indian two-wheeler manufacturer, has launched the Racing Edition of its popular motorcycle, Apache RTR 160. Priced at ₹1.28 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), the Apache RTR 160 Racing Edition is now available for bookings across India. The Racing Edition introduces several updates, including new design elements, colour schemes, and additional features.

The Racing Edition launch follows the recent release of the Black Edition of the Apache RTR 160 4V motorcycle, positioning it at the top of the Apache lineup. The Racing Edition is priced around ₹9,000 more than the Black Edition and is slightly more expensive than the Apache RTR 160 RM.

Updates in the Racing Edition include:

New Colour Scheme: Exclusive Matter Black body colour with a sporty appearance.

Graphics: Race-inspired carbon fibre graphics and a distinctive Racing Edition logo.

Red Alloy Wheels: Enhancing the bike's sporty look.

Engine and Performance

The Apache RTR 160 Racing Edition retains the same 160cc air-cooled engine as the standard versions. This engine is paired with a five-speed gearbox, delivering up to 15.8 bhp of maximum power at 8,750 rpm and 12.7 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm. The bike boasts a top speed of 107 kmph.
