TVS Motor-backed Norton Motorcycles has launched the Manx R, its new flagship supersport motorcycle, in the UK. The Manx R starts at GBP 20,250, which is approximately Rs 26 lakh. This model leads Norton’s new generation lineup, with three more motorcycles expected to follow.

Manx R Variants and Pricing
The Norton Manx R is available in four variants: Standard, Apex, Signature, and First Edition. The Standard variant is priced at GBP 20,250 (Rs 26 lakh). The Apex variant costs GBP 24,750 (Rs 31.8 lakh), while the Signature variant is priced at GBP 38,750 (Rs 49.77 lakh).
Norton has not disclosed the price for the First Edition, which will be limited to 150 units. The First Edition features unique paint schemes, billet aluminum components, a numbered steering yoke, a special start-up sequence, and extensive use of titanium.
Engine and Performance
All variants of the Manx R use a 1200cc V4 engine with a 72-degree crank. This engine produces 206 bhp at 11,500 RPM and 130 Nm of torque at 9,000 RPM. Each variant shares the same electronics suite, including a 6-axis IMU with wheelie control, traction control, slide control, multiple riding modes, and an 8-inch TFT touchscreen instrument cluster. Brembo Hypure calipers and advanced braking hardware are standard across all versions.
Features and Specifications
The Standard variant comes with manually adjustable Marzocchi USD front forks and a rear monoshock, along with cast aluminum wheels. The Apex variant upgrades to electronically adjustable semi-active Marzocchi suspension and OZ Racing forged aluminum wheels. Signature and First Edition variants feature carbon fibre bodywork and Robotox Bullet Pro carbon fibre wheels.
The use of different materials affects the kerb weight: the standard weighs 210 kg, the Apex 207 kg, the Signature 203 kg, and the First Edition 201 kg. All variants are equipped with Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa SP V4 tyres, with a 120-section front and 200-section rear.
