BMW F 450 GS

BMW F 450 GS

The first on our list is the BMW F 450 GS; it is expected to launch in early 2026 at Rs 4.5 lakh(ex-showroom). Though the brand had planned to launch this bike in India Bike Week but due to change in location from Goa to Maharashtra it got postponed. Other than that the F 450 GS looks compact, purposeful and unmistakably GS. Underneath, the 420cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine is expected to deliver 48bhp, making it approachable yet engaging. What makes it exciting is the promise of BMW-level refinement at a relatively accessible price. Expect riding modes, traction control and premium fit-finish. If priced right, this could become the most sensible entry point into serious middleweight adventure touring in India.

Royal Enfield Himalayan 750

Royal Enfield’s biggest ADV the Himalayan 750, Royal Enfield doesn’t try to reinvent the Himalayan formula it simply scales it up. It is expected to break cover somewhere in mid or late 2026 with expected price ranging from Rs 4.2 lakh to Rs 4.5 lakh(ex-showroom). Spy images suggest a familiar silhouette, but with a bulkier stance and stronger road presence. Power will come from a reworked 750cc twin, expected to make around 55bhp with healthy torque for relaxed touring. This bike is designed for riders upgrading from the Himalayan 450, offering more highway comfort, better electronics and two possible variants road-focused and off-road-friendly. It could become India’s most affordable big ADV.

KTM 390 Adventure R

  • Expected price: Around Rs 4 lakh (ex-showroom)
  • Expected launch: 2026

The 390 Adventure R is all about intent. Unlike the standard version, this one lean heavily towards off-road capability with longer suspension travel, larger spoke wheels and a tougher setup. Pricing will sit slightly above the current 390 Adventure, but the upgrades justify it. Powered by the familiar 373cc engine, it will focus on agility and performance rather than outright touring comfort. For riders who value trail riding as much as highway cruising, this could be the most fun adventure bike in its class.

TVS RTX 300

TVS Apache RTX 300

Expected price: Rs 2.6-2.8 lakh (ex-showroom)

Expected launch: Late 2025 to early 2026

TVS enters the ADV space with the RTX 300 with launch speculation in late 2026 priced aggressively. The RTX 300 will feature an all-new 300cc engine, expected to offer strong refinement and reliability. Design-wise, it follows classic adventure cues with a tall windscreen, beak-style front and long-travel suspension. Expect a TFT display, ride modes and electronics borrowed from the RTR 310. If TVS nails ride quality, the RTX 300 could become the smartest value-for-money adventure tourer for Indian conditions.

Hero Xpulse 421

Hero’s is gearing up to introduce its most ambitious adventure bike in 2026, builds on the Xpulse legacy but grows up in every direction. It is expected to price between Rs 2.8-3.2 lakh (ex-showroom), powered by a 421cc engine and is expected to offer significantly better cruising ability than the 210, while keeping weight under control. The design will stay rugged and simple, additionally it features switchable ABS, traction control and off-road modes. This bike feels aimed at riders who want serious adventure capability without crossing premium price brackets. If Hero gets the suspension right, the Xpulse 421 could be a game-changer.
