VinFast Debuts Electric Scooters and the DragonFly Cycle at Bharat Mobility Expo 2025

Vietnamese electric vehicle manufacturer VinFast made its Indian debut at the ongoing Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. While the electric cars and SUVs it displayed itself were hype but a range of electric scooters were also showcased alongside them.

VinFast Electric Scooters

VinFast showcased five electric scooters at the expo:

• ​Klara S​
• Theon S
• Feliz S
• Vento S
• Evo200

All of these scooters are powered by a 3.5kWh LFP battery.

Performance and Range

In terms of range, VinFast claims impressive numbers:

Range: 190-210 km on a single charge, depending on the model.
These figures are based on a 65 kg rider maintaining a steady speed of 30 km/h on flat terrain. However, real-world conditions may result in lower-range figures.

Top Speed

The top speed of the scooters ranges between:
70-90 km/h, depending on the model.

Design

Interestingly, VinFast has patented the design of the Klara S e-scooter in India. This often indicates that the product may eventually go on sale. However, as of now, the company has not announced any plans to sell its e-scooters in the country.

DragonFly Cycle

Alongside these e-scooters, VinFast also displayed the DragonFly electric cycle, which features:

• A small 0.6kWh battery in addition to its pedals.
• A small headlight, front disc brake, and chunky mountain-bike-style block-pattern tires.
