Industry Context and Future Outlook

Yamaha's launch of the Aerox E aligns with broader trends in India's electric vehicle sector. N Chandrasekaran, chairman of the company, has announced a five-year automotive investment plan totaling about Rs 2.6 lakh crore.

In addition, an IESA report highlights rapid expansion in battery manufacturing within India. This growth could strengthen the supply chain for electric vehicles and support the adoption of new models like the Aerox E in the coming years.
