Volkswagen is ready to launch its brand new sedan, Volkswagen Virtus, on June 9th and we are expecting a good show by this mid-range sedan due to its build and great comfortability, something that should be a standard for sedans.

Volkswagen has announced the launch date of its new mid-size sedan, Volkswagen Virtus. This mid-range Sedan will be launching in India on June 9th and will take on rivals like Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, Honda City, and Hyundai Verna apart from VW’s cousin Skoda Slavia. Just last month the Volkswagen Virtus was unveiled and it is supposed to inject a fresh perspective of life into the mid-range segment which has lost ground since the SUV segment getting all the attention. Skoda and Volkswagen both brought the excitement for the mid-range segment back and are banking on their products to get good numbers.

Specifically, Virtus checks all the requirements for a Sedan to be perfect and this could potentially bring back the love for Sedans in the country. Rapid will be replaced by Virtus and there is much that is new in this car that could help it succeed. This German brand has emphasized an advanced level of safety and engineering alongside convenience and a high level of comfort.Virtus has been given a sporty design yet it has a dominating presence on road with a length of 4,561 mm, 1,752 mm in width, and a wheelbase of 2,651 mm. Best of all is the boot space, a spacious and mammoth 521 liters and all of this in total is definitely a promise from Volkswagen to their customers to help enhance comfort on the inside.

The exterior is beautifully designed with LED projector headlights and integrated LED DRLs. A shiny chrome lining highlights the front grille and all in, it seems like a sleek design. 16-inch razor black alloys on which this car stand gives an elegant look plus the sedan has ORVMs with integrated turn indicators and the rear bumper has black mesh and chrome accents.
The VW Virtus will be available in two unique and different trims- The dynamic line and the Performance line. The sedan is already available for bookings over all the company touchpoints that are there in the country. Virtus will also have a GT trim version which will be the top-most version with all the top specs. GT trim will derive its power from a 1.5-liter TSI petrol engine.
The rivals of VW Virtus will be Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, Honda City, Hyundai Verna and Skoda Slavia.
