The Xiaomi SkyNomad N90 enters the market as a three-row electric SUV with a range extender, blending practicality, long-distance capability, and modern connected features.

Xiaomi has introduced the SkyNomad N90, marking the first model under its new SkyNomad sub-brand. Unlike the driver-focused SU7 sedan and YU7 SUV, the SkyNomad N90 is a large three-row SUV designed for practicality and comfort. The vehicle features boxy, upright proportions, setting it apart from Xiaomi's other models.

- The N90 Max variant measures 5285mm long with a 3080mm wheelbase and a 2.8-tonne kerb weight.
- Features a 421 HP range-extender powertrain with a 76 kWh battery and up to 370 km electric range.
Key Dimensions and Exterior Features
According to a filing from China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), the SkyNomad N90 Max variant measures 5,285mm in length, 1,998mm in width, and 1,825mm in height. Its wheelbase spans 3,080mm, and it has a kerb weight of 2.8 tonnes. The front fascia includes a full-width section with LED headlamps, T-shaped daytime running lights, and a SkyNomad wordmark. A wide air dam and vertical air intakes sit below, while a LiDAR sensor is positioned on the roof's leading edge.
The SUV rides on 21-inch alloy wheels and features subtle body cladding, flap-type door handles, and a large glass area. The rear overhang is substantial, suggesting a spacious interior. At the back, a rectangular LED light bar with a SkyNomad wordmark, a sizeable roof spoiler, a mildly raked windscreen, and extensive rear bumper cladding define the design.
Interior and Seating Configuration
Xiaomi has not fully revealed the SkyNomad N90's dashboard. However, images show a large freestanding infotainment touchscreen with minimal physical controls. The interior features a tan finish, an entertainment screen for second-row passengers, and a dual-pane sunroof.
The main highlight is the seating arrangement. The 7-seater version includes powered and reclining second-row captain seats with ottomans, while the third row accommodates up to three passengers. The front seats can swivel to face the rear seats. In the 5-seater configuration, a coffee table can be placed between the first and second rows.
Powertrain, Battery, and Performance
The SkyNomad N90 is built on Xiaomi's new Kunlun Architecture and is the brand's first range-extender electric vehicle. Official powertrain details are pending, but the MIIT filing confirms that the N90 Max uses a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine as a generator, with two electric motors driving the wheels. The combined output is 421 HP, and the SUV has a claimed top speed of 190kph.
The SkyNomad N90 comes standard with a 76 kWh NMC battery pack, offering a claimed all-electric range of up to 370 km. When the battery is depleted, the 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine provides a claimed fuel efficiency of 15.9 kmpl.
