Yamaha is Coming with the New XSR 155 at Bharat Mobility Expo in Jan 2025

The 2025 Yamaha XSR 155 has been popular among young bikers and enthusiasts. This time will be an exciting event for them as the company is preparing to showcase this motorcycle at the Bharat Mobiliy Expo scheduled for January 17, 2025. This bike is built on the same platform as the Yamaha R 15 and MT-15, the company’s top best-selling bikes in India. That is why Yamaha is creating the wave in the 150cc sports segment market. Here are the latest details of the XSR 155.

Yamaha XSR 155 Specifications

This retro naked sports motorcycle is powered by a 155 cc liquid-cooled engine that produces 19.3 PS at 10,000 rpm and 14.7 Nm of torque at 8,500 rpm. The design of the motorcycle stands out as it includes a circular headlight, a teardrop-shaped fuel tank, boldy side-mounted exhaust, a flat seat, and an exposed delta box frame and short fenders which altogether gives it an old-school look but retro strong character.

Despite the old-school design, this motorcycle has modern features such as full LED headlamps and taillights, and a circular digital instrument cluster. Talking about the suspension it consists of USD forks at the front and a mono-shock at the rear with both disc braking on both tyres.

Competition

The biking community highly expected the launch of this motorcycle soon. Additionally, Yamaha is also aiming to compete in the competitive environment in the modern-retro segment which is loaded with rivals such as Royal Enfield Hunter and TVS Ronin. It is highly speculated that the competition in the future will be strong among contenders including TVS Apache RTR 200 4V, and Bajaj Pulsar NS200.
