Overview
Yamaha unveiled the Lander 250 at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025. The bike is currently only available in Brazil. Although Yamaha has not revealed its launch strategy, it is expected to enter the Indian market soon.
Design Highlights
The Yamaha Lander 250 has an attractive design with modern features such as a center-mounted projector LED headlight. It also has a tall front fender, large fuel tank extensions, and a one-piece seat with upturned exhaust.
Engine and Performance
Talking about the engine, the Lander 250 is powered by a 249cc single-cylinder engine that produces 20.5bhp and 20.6Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a five-speed gearbox and housed in a double cradle frame. The suspension system includes telescopic front forks with 220mm of travel and a mono-shock with 204mm of travel. The Lander 250 also has single-disc brakes at both ends with ABS.
Instrument Cluster and Features
Coming to its instrument cluster, it has an LCD display that comes with modern features such as smartphone connectivity in which you can access your notifications and calls directly over the dashboard.
Pricing and Variants
The Yamaha Lander 250 comes in a single variant with four color schemes namely - matte green, solid red, matte grey, and metallic red. If this model is released in India, it will cost around Rs. 1.9 lakh to Rs. 2.20 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
Rivals
If launched in India, the Lander 250 will compete against several popular models such as - Honda XRE 300, and Hero Xpulse 200.
