Yamaha’s new MotoGP editions of R15M and MT-15 feature unique racing livery and Bluetooth connectivity, priced from ₹1.73 lakh.

Yamaha Motor India is celebrating the festive season with a bang by unveiling two exciting new models: the MotoGP editions of the R15M and MT-15 Version 2.0. These special editions are part of Yamaha’s ‘The Call of the Blue’ campaign and are available across all Blue Square Showrooms in India.
The 2024 Yamaha R15M MotoGP Edition is priced at ₹1,98,800, while the MT-15 V2 MotoGP Edition comes in at ₹1,73,400 (both ex-showroom). This is an increase of ₹700 compared to their previous versions. These limited-edition models showcase Yamaha's racing heritage with distinctive MotoGP livery but retain the same mechanical features as their standard counterparts.
Both the R15M and MT-15 Version 2.0 now sport special Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP Edition graphics, featuring racing-inspired accents on the tank shrouds, fuel tank, and side panels. Despite these eye-catching updates, the bikes maintain their original specifications.
Bluetooth Connectivity: Stay connected on the go.
Colored TFT Instrument Cluster: Easy-to-read display with vibrant colors.
Upside-Down Forks: Improved handling and stability.
Assistive Slipper Clutch: Smoother downshifts.
Traction Control: Enhanced safety on different road conditions.
Variable Valve Actuation: Better engine performance.
The R15M also benefits from a quick shifter, turn-by-turn navigation, music, and volume control, upgraded switchgear, and an LED license plate light, making it ideal for track enthusiasts. On the other hand, the MT-15 Version 2.0, designed for street use, does not include track-specific features like the quick shifter.
Both models feature the same engine specifications:
Engine: 155cc, single-cylinder, fuel-injected, liquid-cooled.
Power: 18.1 hp
Torque: 14.2 Nm
Transmission: 6-speed gearbox
Brakes: Dual-channel ABS
Earlier this month, Yamaha also introduced the 2024 R15M Carbon Fiber Pattern Graphic, priced at ₹2.08 lakh (ex-showroom). This variant includes features such as carbon fiber pattern graphics, turn-by-turn navigation, music, and volume control, and an LED license plate light.
With the launch of these special MotoGP editions and the Carbon Fiber Pattern R15M, Yamaha aims to capture the attention of younger, adventurous buyers during the festive season. These models not only enhance Yamaha’s appeal in the market but also add a touch of racing spirit to their already popular line-up.
Whether you’re drawn to the track-focused R15M or the street-smart MT-15 Version 2.0, these MotoGP editions offer a unique blend of style and performance that is sure to excite motorcycle enthusiasts across India.
