For my monthly commute of roughly 1,100 km, petrol costs sit around ₹2,500 thanks to an impressive real-world mileage of ~47 km/l in mixed riding conditions. Factor in chain maintenance every 500 km and setting aside ₹500/month for periodic servicing, and my total out-of-pocket running expense is under ₹11,000/month (including EMI). It is surprisingly light on the wallet for a premium entry-level sportbike.

Mild handlebar buzz around 8,000 RPM after long rides is eliminated by installing heavier aftermarket bar-end weights. Drive chain slackness, especially in rainy conditions, is controlled by strict cleaning and high‑viscosity lubrication every 400-500 km.

The single LED projector headlamp lacked side spread on dark rural roads, but adjusting its vertical angle at the service center improved visibility. Gear shifts felt stiff before the first service, yet switching to Yamalube full‑synthetic oil at 1,000 km restored smoothness, especially with the quickshifter. A spongy front brake lever after heavy monsoon riding was resolved by bleeding the lines and replacing brake fluid, bringing back sharp lever bite.
