Yamaha has introduced two new color options for the R25 in Malaysia as part of its 2026 update. The motorcycle now comes in Icon Blue and Mint Green, with prices starting at RM23,098, which is about Rs. 5.54 lakh.

New Colour Options Detailed

The Icon Blue shade closely resembles the Racing Blue seen on the Yamaha R15 in India. This color draws inspiration from Yamaha’s racing heritage and is designed for riders who prefer a sporty appearance. The Mint Green option features a light green finish, accented with black and red graphics. This bold paint scheme targets those who want a striking visual presence on the road.

Technical Specifications Remain Unchanged

Aside from the new colors, the Yamaha R25 remains mechanically the same. The motorcycle continues to use a 249cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine. This engine delivers 34.9bhp and 22.6Nm of torque. There are no changes to the chassis, suspension, or other mechanical components.

Market Availability

The updated Yamaha R25 is expected to remain exclusive to Southeast Asian markets, including Malaysia. There are no indications that Yamaha will launch this model in India. However, the Icon Blue and Mint Green color options may influence future updates to other Yamaha models, such as the R15 in India.
