Yamaha Motor India has increased prices for its R15 motorcycle lineup. The price hike affects all three variants: Yamaha R15S, Yamaha R15 V4, and Yamaha R15M. Each variant now costs Rs 4,900 more than before. The new prices start at Rs 1.57 lakh for the R15S and go up to Rs 1.96 lakh for the R15M.

Updated Prices for R15 Variants

The Yamaha R15S, which is based on the previous-generation V3 model, now costs Rs 1.57 lakh. This model features revised styling, a telescopic fork, and a stepped seat. The price was previously Rs 1.51 lakh.

The Yamaha R15 V4 is now priced between Rs 1.71 lakh and Rs 1.76 lakh. Earlier, it ranged from Rs 1.66 lakh to Rs 1.71 lakh. The R15 V4 includes a USD fork and an up-only quickshifter on select variants.

The top-end Yamaha R15M now costs between Rs 1.86 lakh and Rs 1.96 lakh, up from Rs 1.81 lakh to Rs 1.91 lakh. The R15M offers a color TFT display, a standard quickshifter, and special Yamaha R15 MotoGP and R1M-inspired liveries.

Common Features and Specifications

All three R15 variants use the same 155cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. This engine produces 18.4 HP and 14.2 Nm of torque. Each model pairs this engine with a 6-speed gearbox.

The frame, wheels, and braking hardware are identical across the R15 range. Differences between the variants are mainly in styling, suspension, and additional features.

Yamaha has not announced any changes to the mechanical components or performance figures. The price increase applies uniformly to all three R15 variants in India.
