Yokohama India has recently announced its partnership with the Classic Himalayan Drive 2025 season. This Himalayan rally is a 10-day extraordinary motoring expedition that recaptures the thrilling routes of the iconic 1980s Himalayan rallies. For the 2025 edition, the rally will begin on November 2, 2025, and bring around over 100 passionate motoring enthusiasts. The race will also feature legendary classic cars from Europe, the UK, Sri Lanka, and India.

The Himalayan Drive will retrace the legendary routes of the 1980s Himalayan rallies across some of the most challenging driving terrain. This mountain drive offers a unique opportunity to experience the breathtaking Himalayan terrain through cities like Mussoorie, Rishikesh, and Manali, blending vintage automotive heritage with a few modernities. Yokohama India’s collaboration underscores its commitment to deliver quality motoring experiences and premium tyre solutions to enthusiasts nationwide.

A Tribute to Motoring Heritage and Endurance

The rally is scheduled for the first week of November 2025 and will serve as a dynamic platform to honor some classic legendary drives, such as the 1958 Mercedes 180A, 1970 Ford Mustang, 2000 Mini Cooper, Lexus 470, Jaguar XK8, and Mercedes 230 CE, which will traverse these legendary routes, creating a unique fusion of nostalgia and exploration.

The rally convoy will have a dedicated stop at Yokohama Club Network at Batra Tyres, Chandigarh, on November 9, 2025. Here, participants will receive expert tyre health check-ups, wheel alignment, and balancing services, ensuring that every vehicle performs optimally throughout the journey. Furthermore, racing cadres and car enthusiasts are also welcome to view these timeless classic heritage vehicles.
