ZXMoto's Rapid Rise in Racing
ZXMoto was established in 2024 by Zhang Xue, a former co-founder of Kove Moto. Kove Moto is known for its adventure motorcycles and Dakar Rally participation. Despite being a new entrant, ZXMoto quickly gained recognition by competing in the 2026 WorldSSP championship. The 820RR became the first Chinese motorcycle to win a WorldSSP race. ZXMoto currently holds third place in the manufacturers' standings, trailing only Yamaha and Ducati and ahead of Triumph, Kawasaki, Honda, and MV Agusta.
820RR-R and 820R Model Details

The 820RR-R builds on the standard 820RR's performance. The 818.8cc inline-triple engine in the 820RR produces 135 HP at 12,000 rpm and 80 Nm at 9,500 rpm. The 820RR-R increases output to 145 HP at 13,500 rpm and revs up to 14,750 rpm. This improvement comes from a higher compression ratio and titanium intake valves, replacing the steel units found in the standard model.
The 820RR-R features a fully adjustable 43mm KYB USD fork and KYB monoshock. Braking is managed by Brembo M50 monobloc calipers and a Brembo master cylinder. Forged wheels replace the standard cast alloy wheels, reducing the wet weight by 7 kg to 186 kg. Additional upgrades include carbon-fiber winglets, a carbon-fiber exhaust tip, adjustable rearsets, and a reduced fuel tank capacity from 18 litres to 16 litres.
The electronics package on the 820RR-R is comprehensive. It includes five riding modes, a six-axis IMU for cornering tcarbon-fiberrol and lean, a carbon-fiber chassis, a 6.2-inch Android-powered TFT display, TPMS, a bidirectional quickshifter, keyless ignition, and a dual-chamber steering damper. Both the 820RR and 820RR-R use a cast aluminum frame, aluminum swingarm, and adjustable rake and anti-squat geometry.
The 820R naked model uses the same 818.8cc inline-triple engine and aluminum chassis as the 820RR, delivering 135 HP at 12,000 rpm. However, it uses suspension from Yu'an and braking components from Taisko. Some standard features include a six-axis IMU, TPMS, and keyless ignition.
ZXMoto's Global Expansion Plans

ZXMoto also targets the United States, but there are no announced plans for an India launch.
