The cheapest model from the brand, which is Outlander starts at Rs 26.93 Lakh, and the price of the most expensive model, which is Pajero Sport starts at Rs 28.05 Lakh. Mitsubishi offers 2 car models in the country and both of them are available in the SUV segment.

Founded in the year 1970, Mitsubishi Motors is a Japanese car manufacturer. Currently, Nissan owns one-third or 34 per cent of the Mitsubishi brand which in turn is a part of the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi alliance. The brand has its manufacturing facilities located in Japan, Thailand, as well as, Philippines. In the year 1998, the brand had a joint venture with Hindustan Motors in India.

Mitsubishi made its first appearance in the country with the launch of the Lancer. Currently, the brand's product portfolio includes the Outlander and the Pajero Sport Select Plus. In the year 2009, the company introduced the i-MiEV, which is the brand's first EV, an all-electric mini car that comes with a lithium-ion battery.

On the horizon, Mitsubishi is set to introduce 2 cars — Mitsubishi Xpander, Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross — further strengthening its presence in the Indian market.
