Exterior & Design
Mercedes EQS is the electrified version of S-Class and thus it packs the best of Mercedes. In the exterior, the EQS gets "One Bow" design language. This new design language is all about the combination of a cab forward front + a sloping fastback rear design. Moreover, with the silhouette of a coupe, long wheelbase, and smooth flowing body panels, the EQS looks futuristic.
The design is also complemented by Mercedes signature gloss black panel on the closed grille along with connected LED DRLs in the front and connected taillamps at the rear.
Interior & Features
Inside the cabin, the new EQS fells even more luxurious than the S-Class. With premium materials like wood, nappa leather, ARTICO man-made leather, etc, and advanced tech like 3 high definition OLED screens with new gen MBUX, the EQS offers a perfect combination of quality and modernity.
On the features front, it comes loaded with Electrically adjustable front seats with Memory function, Memory function for steering and ORVMs, ventilated and heated front and rear seats, panoramic sunroof, multizone climate control AC, multi colour ambient lighting, wireless phone chargers, etc.
For passengers entertainment, it offer 3 high definition OLED displays in the front, all embedded with MBUX and a surround sound system from Burmester.
Safety & Tech
On the active safety side, it comes with active parking assist (hands free parking), TPMS, all auto dimming mirrors, 360 degree camera, etc. On the passive side, it offers a total of 9 airbags including side airbags, window airbags and knee airbag.
It also comes equipped with ADAS tech offering features like distronic plus, active lane departure assist, active steering assist, evasive maneuver support, adaptive high beam assist, active lane keeping assist, etc.
Battery & Motor
Powering this luxurious sedan is a 107.8 kWh battery pack along with two different motor setup. For EQS 580 4MATIC, there's dual PMS motors with combined power of 523 PS and combined torque of 855 Nm. It comes with all wheel drive setup, a 0 to 100 km/h time of 4.3 seconds and a top speed of 210 km/h.
For Mercedes-AMG EQS 53 4MATIC+, there's dual permanently agitated synchronous motors enabling fully variable AMG performance 4MATIC + all-wheel drive. Also, for this variant, the combined power stands at 761 PS and the combined torque stands at 1020 Nm. This makes it possible for the vehicle to launch from 0 to 100 in 3.4 seconds and reach a top speed of 250 km/h.
Dimension
It measures 5216 mm in length, 1926 mm in width, 1512 mm in height and 3210 mm in wheelbase.
Colour Options
For EQS 580 4MATIC, customers can choose from Obsidian Black, Graphite grey, Diamond white bright, Sodalite blue and High-tech silver. For AMG EQS 53 4MATIC+, buyers can select from Polar White, Obsidian Black, Nautic Blue and Graphite Grey.
For AMG EQS 53 4MATIC+ Designo, consumers can go with Manufaktur Hyacinth Red, Manufaktur Diamond White Metallic or Manufaktur Selenite Grey Magno.
