The 2024 KTM 1390 Super Duke R EVO, the company's premier streetfighter, has been formally introduced in India. With major design and technical improvements, this motorcycle, which retails for ₹22.96 lakh (ex-showroom), represents KTM's entry into the luxury market. KTM 1390 Super Duke R: Style and Design
KTM's daring naked bike collection is complemented with the 2024 KTM 1390 Super Duke R, which has a distinctive vertically stacked LED headlight and characteristic LED DRLs. New fuel tank shrouds and winglets are part of the redesigned design, which keeps KTM's aggressive, angular look. The bike looks sleeker thanks to the little subframe cover.
KTM 1390 Super Duke R: Performance and Engine
It Comes with 1,350 cc LC8 V-Twin liquid-cooled engine with a maximum torque of 145 Nm and 188 horsepower powers the 2024 KTM 1390 Super Duke R. A 6-speed gearbox with a slip-and-assist clutch is linked to the engine. The bike's 'cam shift' technology, which ensures smooth power delivery through variable valve timing, is noteworthy. It is equipped with Michelin Power GP tires, and its front and rear brakes are handled by Brembo Stylema monobloc callipers, which have 320 and 240 mm discs, respectively.
KTM 1390 Super Duke R: Suspension and Hardware
The new 1390 Super Duke R has improved suspension parts and is constructed on the same chassis as the 1290 Super Duke R. It has a rear monoshock with high and low speed compression damping, as well as fully adjustable 48 mm WP front forks. Semi-active suspension with magnetic valves for adaptive damping is a feature of the high-end 1390 Super Duke R EVO model. The five suspension settings available to riders are Auto, Comfort, Rain, Street, and Sport.
Additional hardware features include an anti-dive mechanism to improve stability during severe braking and an automated preload adjustment system that adjusts to the load. For better launch performance, the 'Factory Start' option further optimises ride height and rear preload.
