The third-generation Amaze, which is scheduled to make its formal debut on December 4, 2024, is anticipated to revolutionize the sub-4 meter sedan market. Along with a modern style influenced by Honda's high-end vehicles, the new model debuts segment-first technologies including ADAS.
Bold Exterior Design with a New Blue Color
The 2025 Honda Amaze adopts a more modern and refined design language, taking cues from the Honda City and Elevate. Key exterior highlights include:
Front Profile
- Larger honeycomb grille.
- Sleeker LED headlamps with integrated DRLs.
- Connected chrome strip and a redesigned clamshell bonnet.
Rear Profile
- LED tail lamps and a revamped bumper.
- Shark fin antenna and new alloy wheels.
The new blue color spotted in spy shots enhances its visual appeal, adding a premium touch to the sedan's personality.
Powertrain
The Amaze still carries its 1.2-liter petrol engine, delivering 90 hp and 110 Nm of torque, paired with either a 5-speed manual or CVT. Honda is also likely to introduce a CNG variant in the future, catering to the demand for alternative fuel options.
Premium Interiors and Advanced Features
Inside, the 2025 Amaze offers a more sophisticated and tech-savvy cabin, heavily influenced by the Honda Elevate.
Dashboard and Technology
- A revamped dashboard layout.
- 8-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
- Semi-digital instrument cluster.
Comfort Features
- Automatic air conditioning and rear AC vents.
- Wireless phone charger.
- Higher trims feature a single-pane sunroof, offering a touch of luxury.
The cabin is adorned with a dual-tone color scheme and upgraded upholstery, enhancing its premium feel.
Segment-First Safety and ADAS
Honda places a significant emphasis on safety, equipping the 2025 Amaze with segment-leading features:
Standard Safety
- Six airbags across all variants.
- ABS with EBD, hill-hold assist, and parking sensors with a reverse camera.
ADAS Features
- Lane-keeping assist.
- Adaptive cruise control.
- Autonomous emergency braking.
These updates make the Amaze one of the safest sedans in its class.
Expected Price
With its significant upgrades, the 2025 Honda Amaze is expected to be priced slightly higher than the outgoing model (₹7.3 lakh to ₹10 lakh, ex-showroom). It will compete with rivals like the Maruti Dzire, Hyundai Aura, and Tata Tigor, aiming to set new benchmarks in style, safety, and technology.
