Hyundai has officially launched the 2025 Tucson facelift in the United States, following its unveiling at the New York Auto Show in November 2023. The Tucson facelift boasts significant exterior and interior updates, along with a range of powertrain options. The Tucson facelift’s base model starts at USD 28,355 (approximately Rs 23.7 lakh), representing a price increase of up to USD 755 compared to the previous version. This launch marks an important step for the worldwide popular Tucson, with potential implications for other markets, including India.
The 2025 Tucson facelift introduces several notable changes:
- Redesigned front fascia with updated grille and LED signature
- New wheel designs
- Revamped interior with dual 12.3-inch screens
- Redesigned center console and steering wheel
- Enhanced processing power and graphics for the infotainment system
The base SE trim comes well-equipped with features such as LED lighting, acoustic glass, 17-inch alloy wheels, keyless entry, push-button start, climate control, and a comprehensive ADAS safety suite. Powertrain options include a 187 bhp 2.5L engine for the standard model, while the hybrid variant combines a 1.6L turbocharged engine with a 1.49 kWh battery for a total output of 231 bhp.
For those seeking more eco-friendly options, Hyundai offers:
- Tucson Hybrid starting at USD 33,115
- Tucson Plug-in Hybrid from USD 39,380, featuring a 13.8 kWh battery and 268 bhp total output
The plug-in hybrid model boasts an electric-only range of 53 km on a single charge. All-wheel drive is available as an option for an additional USD 1,500 across the range.
As the 2025 Tucson facelift makes its debut in the US market, it sets the stage for potential launches in other regions, including India, where the long-wheelbase version is currently offered.
