The new Skoda Kushaq facelift features a wider front grille and slimmer LED headlamps. The LED DRLs now connect through the grille with an LED strip, a design inspired by the Skoda Kodiaq. The front bumper has a neater look, improved air intakes, and a skid plate. The side profile remains largely unchanged, but new 17-inch alloy wheels add freshness. The car measures 4,229 mm in length, 1,760 mm in width, and 1,612 mm in height.

The rear of the Kushaq sees significant changes, including a full-width LED light bar with 'Skoda' lettering. The Monte Carlo variant stands out with an all-black grille, red detailing, unique alloy wheels, and signature badging. Skoda offers the Kushaq facelift in eight color options, with three new additions.

Interior Features and Comfort

The cabin of the 2026 Kushaq feels lighter due to a new dual-tone black and beige theme. The Monte Carlo variant offers a darker interior option. The dashboard has a simple, horizontal layout with a floating touchscreen. Improved finishes include more matte surfaces and less shiny plastic. The seats are comfortable and supportive, with leatherette upholstery and soft-touch elements in key areas. Mood lighting and a panoramic sunroof enhance the cabin's appeal in higher variants.

The Kushaq offers a boot space of 385 litres up to the parcel shelf and 491 litres to the roof. Folding the 60:40 split rear seats expands the space to 1,405 litres. Key features include a 10.1-inch infotainment touchscreen with Google AI assistant, ventilated front seats, wireless phone charging, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, automatic climate control, cruise control, a 6-speaker sound system, and connected car technology. Updates include a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, panoramic sunroof, dual-color ambient lighting, and a rear seat massage function.

Safety and Powertrain Details

The Kushaq facelift comes standard with six airbags, electronic stability control, ABS with EBD, traction control, hill hold control (automatic only), rain-sensing wipers, rear parking sensors, and ISOFIX child seat anchors. The tyre pressure monitoring system and rear parking camera are available in all but the base variant. The model lacks a 360-degree camera and level-2 ADAS. The Kushaq holds a five-star Global NCAP rating and awaits Bharat NCAP testing.

Engine options remain the same: a 1.0-litre and a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol. The facelift introduces an 8-speed torque converter automatic transmission, replacing the previous 6-speed unit for smoother shifts.

The Skoda Kushaq facelift competes in the compact SUV segment. Key rivals include the new Renault Duster, Tata Sierra, Kia Seltos, Hyundai Creta, and Maruti Victoris.
