The heavily camouflaged prototype was seen parked roadside, yet still offered clear hints of a Punch EV-inspired fascia, a refreshed interior, and a confirmed factory CNG option aimed at value-conscious urban buyers.

These latest sightings strongly indicate that Tata is preparing a mid-cycle update that focuses on perceived quality and features rather than radical mechanical changes. This upcoming test mule might have a longer wheelbase than the current model. The facelift appears to elevate the Punch’s appeal with a more premium dashboard layout, a larger touchscreen, and a new steering wheel. Exterior Design Inspired by Tata Nexon

In terms of design, recent spy images from Munnar show the Punch facelift taking styling cues from newer Tata SUVs like the Nexon and Harrier.
