Hyundai has revealed the 2027 Grandeur facelift, its best-selling sedan in Korea, featuring updated design and advanced technology. The new model introduces a refreshed exterior, a 17-inch infotainment display, and a customizable sunroof. The Grandeur, also known as the Azera in some markets, remains focused on the Korean market.
Key Highlights
- 2027 Hyundai Grandeur facelift features refreshed exterior and advanced tech
- New 17-inch infotainment display and customizable Smart Vision Roof introduced
- Powertrain options expected to remain unchanged with up to 300 PS output
- Facelift measures 5050 mm long and adds new artistic burgundy color
- The current model starts at KRW 37980000, with a price increase likely for the facelift.
Exterior and Design Updates

The 2027 Grandeur facelift showcases refined styling while maintaining the dynamic look of its predecessor. Notable changes include a longer hood and a more pronounced 'Shark Nose.' The previous partitioned grille has been replaced by a seamless single-block design with a new mesh pattern, enhancing the sedan's sporty appearance.
The lighting has been updated with sleek elements and a full-width LED strip at the front. The side profile remains similar, featuring body-colored ORVMs, flush door handles, a chrome window line, circular wheel arches, and a gently sloping roofline. New sportier alloy wheels and updated door trim add to the refreshed look.
At the rear, the Grandeur now features a full-width LED strip that integrates turn signals. The bumper has a new black trim, and the diffuser section includes chrome accents. Hyundai has also introduced a new 'Artistic Burgundy' (Pearl/Matte) exterior color. The facelift measures 5,050 mm in length, 15 mm longer than the previous model.
Interior and Technology Enhancements

The interior of the 2027 Grandeur facelift receives significant upgrades. The centerpiece is a 17-inch centrally mounted display powered by the Android Automotive Operating System (AAOS). This screen integrates both the instrument console and infotainment functions. Physical buttons below the touchscreen allow quick access to key features, reducing driver distraction.
The sedan now includes electric air vents, which users can control for airflow volume and direction via the touchscreen. These vents are concealed, contributing to a cleaner dashboard design. Another notable addition is the 'Smart Vision Roof,' an electrically operated sunroof that transitions between transparent and opaque states.
The interior also features a new Artisan Burgundy color option, matching the new exterior shade. Contemporary styling elements include quilted upholstery, knot piping, wood finishes, and metal pattern garnishes.
Powertrain and Availability
Hyundai has not announced changes to the powertrain options for the 2027 Grandeur facelift. The sedan is expected to continue with the current lineup: a 2.5-liter GDI engine producing 198 PS, a 1.6-liter turbo hybrid with a combined output of 230 PS, and a 3.5-liter V6 delivering 300 PS and 359 Nm of torque. Both front-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive configurations are available.
The 2027 Hyundai Grandeur will reach Korean showrooms in the coming months. With the extensive updates, a price increase is expected. The current model starts at KRW 37,980,000 (approximately Rs 24.40 lakh).
