The rapid growth of Rizta underscores surging demand for practical, family-oriented EVs amid rising adoption rates. The vehicle now holds over 70% of the brand’s total sales volume. The e-scooter Rizta was launched in April 2024, and ever since, the brand has been selling the scooter beyond its expectations. Let’s take a close look at the sales achievements held by the Ather Rizta in India.

Splendid Sales Records

In November 2025, Rizta was able to show a robust performance in India’s electric two-wheeler market. This includes 20,349 units retailed in FY2026 with 56.98% Y-o-Y growth. This tremendous success highlights Rizta’s important role in expanding the business portfolio of Ather as a brand in India. The company’s strong growth came from states like Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, where the market shares increased from 7% in Q1FY26 to 14% in Q3FY6.

Ather Rizta has touched the 2 lakh unit sales milestone within a year of its inception. This contributed around 60% to Ather’s FY2026 volumes of 155,405 units. The second lakh came in just six months, reflecting accelerated retail amid festive surges and market penetration. Seeing such remarkable market outcomes, the brand has recently introduced a new variant wrapped under the Terracotta Red color as an option for consumers.

For the 2025 iteration, the brand has also introduced the Ather Rizta S with a 3.7 kWh battery configuration. Now, both the Rizta S and Rizta Z models offer an IDC-claimed range of 123 km and 159 km, respectively, on a single charge.

Leadership Approach

Speaking about the achievement, Mr. Ravneet Singh Phokela, Chief Business Officer, said, “Rizta has expanded the company’s expandable market and enabled aggressive distribution expansion, particularly in the Middle and Northern India. The company plans to focus on strengthening product accessibility through deeper distribution networks.”
