BMW S 1000 RR
BMW Motorrad is bringing the updated S 1000 RR, a superbike that combines performance and cutting-edge aerodynamics. This latest version showcases a redesigned front end, featuring asymmetrical side panels: gills on the right side and an exit vent on the left. The winglets have been revamped, and a new front wheel cover integrates brake ducts to enhance cooling during track sessions.
Performance Enhancements:
- Increased downforce from 17.1 kg to 23.1 kg at 300 km/h for better stability.
Newly designed titanium valves with improved compression ratio and updated intake/exhaust ports. - Enhanced stiffness in the steering head area, thanks to adjustments in the flex frame.
- With its upgrades, the S 1000 RR continues to embody BMW’s precision engineering ethos.
BMW R 1300 GS Adventure
BMW Motorrad India has already teased the launch of the R 1300 GS Adventure (GSA) on its social media platforms. An upgrade to the much-loved R 1300 GS, this adventure bike now features:
- A larger aluminium fuel tank for extended range.
- Optional semi-automatic gearbox (Automated Shift Assistant), a first for BMW Motorrad.
- A suite of advanced electronic rider aids and features.
Powered by a 1,300 cc boxer-twin engine, the R 1300 GSA delivers 143 bhp at 7,750 rpm and 149 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm. Pricing is expected to be about ₹3-4 lakh higher than the standard R 1300 GS, which starts at ₹20.95 lakh, while the R 1250 GSA is priced at ₹22.5 lakh.
Suzuki GSX-8S
Suzuki Motorcycle India is likely to present the GSX-8S, the naked sibling of the GSX-8R. This model packs the same 776 cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine as the V-Strom 800 DE and GSX-8R, delivering 81 hp at 8,500 rpm and 78 Nm of torque at 6,800 rpm.
Key Features:
- 270-degree crankshaft with Suzuki’s patented cross balancer shaft for smoother performance.
- Paired with a 6-speed gearbox and a bi-directional quickshifter.
- Distinctive, sharp styling reminiscent of the iconic Katana.
- The GSX-8S promises to combine striking design with everyday usability and performance.
Yamaha Tenere 700
Yamaha is expected to showcase the updated Tenere 700 ADV, a motorcycle that enjoys immense popularity internationally. While its India launch remains uncertain, the new 2025 version comes with:
- Updates to the design, suspension, and feature set.
- Rugged construction is ideal for adventure enthusiasts.
Should Yamaha decide to bring the Tenere 700 to India, it would be a pleasant addition to its lineup, given the growing demand for capable ADV motorcycles in the country.
