BMW Z4 M40i Pure Impulse Edition Launches in India, Featuring Manual Transmission
The all-new BMW Z4 M40i Pure Impulse Edition packs a 3.0-liter inline six motor capable of delivering 335.34 bhp and 500 Nm of torque.
BMW India has launched its flagship Z4 M40i Impulse Edition. The luxury car manufacturer confirmed that the limited-edition roaster will hit the Indian market as a completely built-up (CBU) unit. The new BMW X4 M40i Pure Impulse Edition will be available in two new colorways, Frozen Deep Green and Sanremo Green.

Exterior Styling
With the fresh design accent, the new BMW Z4 M40i special edition receives a BMW kidney grille with a horizontal inner structure design, bigger air vents, vertically positioned LED headlights, a soft top with an opening and closing time of 10 seconds, L-shaped LED taillights, and a rear spoiler. This is the first time this German automobile manufacturer has offered manual transmission in its range-topping versions.
Interior Features
This two-seater BMW Z4 M40i Pure Impulse Edition has a new cockpit design. The convertible luxury car also has ambient lighting, two-zone air conditioning, a powered driver seat with memory function, an M leather steering wheel, a high gloss black finish across the interior, and a cup holder under the center armrest cover. Additionally, the standard version receives leather Vernasca Cognac upholstery with contrast-colored stitching. At the same time, there is optional equipment like comfort access, soft top anthracite silver effect, lumbar support for the driver and front passenger, and M seat belts. The automaker has offered adaptive LED headlights, high beam assist, a Harman Kardom surround sound system, parking assist, and a head-up display.
Powertrain
The all-new BMW Z4 M40i Pure Impulse Edition packs a 3.0-liter inline six motor capable of delivering 335.34 bhp and 500 Nm of torque. With this high-performance engine, the BMW convertible accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 4.6 seconds with manual transmission with 4.5 seconds with automatic transmission. It comes with a six-speed manual and an eight-speed automatic gearbox option.
Software & Technology
This BMW luxury car has a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and an infotainment screen. The console features a navigation system, 3D maps, wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto Bluetooth, and USB ports. For safety, it includes an ADAS that packs active park distance control, drive assistance, and optional parking assistance. The safety features include front and side airbags for the driver and passenger, ABS, DSC, cornering brake control, and side impact protection. The Z4 M40i Pure Impulse Edition offers three drive modes: Ecopro, Comfort, and Sport. The new launch from BMW also features an M Sport brake and an M Sport differential.

The special edition of the BMW Z4 M40i roadster price in India starts from Rs 96,90,000 for automatic transmission and Rs 97,90,000 for manual transmission variants.
