The iX1's powertrain is entirely electric and consists of two electric motors, one for each axle. The system's combined output of 364 pound-feet (494 Newton-meters) and 313 horsepower (230 kilowatts) makes the iX1 one of the most potent X1s from the third generation. BMW claims that the AWD system would provide "supreme traction and directional stability" and that it will accelerate from 0 to 62 mph (0-100 kph) in under 5.7 seconds.

The emission-free, iX1 can be distinguished from the ICE version by its significantly altered front fascia. It has a redesigned lower part of the bumper and blue accents around the kidney grilles. The side below the doors and the back on the rear bumper both have the same blue highlights. Overall, the iX1 resembles the conventional X1 almost perfectly.

The iX1 has a 10.25-inch integrated digital driver's display and a 10.7-inch infotainment system that runs the most recent version of BMW's iDrive operating system. A panoramic sunroof, numerous driving modes, dual-zone climate control, and electrically adjustable front seats with memory and massage features are also available.

BMW iX1 offers a range of 417 km/charge.
BMW iX1 starting price is 66.90 Lakh (plus registration, insurance & other costs) for the base model. while the BMW iX1 top model price is Rs.6690000 (plus registration, insurance & other costs).
