The SUV also includes semi-flush door handles, large alloy wheels, a longer body and wheelbase, connected LED taillights, and a more dynamic silhouette compared to the Tiggo 7.

The Tiggo 7L measures 4,655 mm in length with a 2,720 mm wheelbase. In comparison, the Tiggo 7 is 4,530 mm long with a 2,670 mm wheelbase. Safety features in the Tiggo 7L include up to seven airbags and an L2 ADAS suite. This suite provides autonomous driving features such as automatic emergency braking and adaptive cruise control.

Engine Options and Strategy

The Tiggo 7L patent in India covers two engine options: a 1.5L turbo petrol engine and a 1.6L turbo petrol engine. The 1.6L engine delivers 197 HP of peak power. The Tiggo 7, by contrast, offers only a 1.5L turbo petrol engine rated at 154 HP. Chery's strategy involves offering both Tiggo 7 and Tiggo 7L variants.
