Hero MotoCorp Closes FY25 with 5.9 Million Sales, Records Strong EV & Premium Growth
Hero MotoCorp ends FY25 with 5.9 million units sold, driven by record EV sales, global business growth, and expansion in the premium segment with Harley-Davidson X440 and VIDA V2.

Hero MotoCorp has announced registering their sales of 5,899,187 units in FY’25. In December 2024, the company grasped the achievement of holding the market’s leadership for 24 consecutive years. Hero MotoCorp has proved its might yet again and conquered its 25th year as well.
While Hero MotoCorp has been expanding its position in the electric vehicle category, the company proudly achieved its highest EV sales, a growth of around 200% over FY’24. This has bolstered Hero MotoCorp’s presence in the international markets, as the Company continued its excellent performance in Global Business with over 40% growth over the previous year.
In March of this year, Hero MotoCorp made a sale of 549,604 units of motorcycles and scooters, which is a growth of 12% over the previous year’s March. Hero MotoCorp also registered a record-breaking monthly dispatches in global business with 39,518 units, resulting in a 27% growth over March 2024. VIDA also saw strong momentum, dispatching 7,787 units of its electric scooters, the VIDA V2 which reflected a positive market response.
Hero MotoCorp sold over 11,000 Harley Davidson X440 motorcycles in FY25, which is enabling the company to hold its position inside the premium motorcycle category.
To make Hero MotoCorp’s premium portfolio easily accessible to customers, the company has established over 80 premia stores in the country presently and the premia stores feature dedicated catering for Hero, VIDA, and Harley-Davidson products, which offer customers a seamless and premium retail experience. The company expanded its Hero 2.0 network to 930 outlets at present.
The only two-wheeler company to become a part of the Dow Jones Sustainability Index is Hero MotoCorp, which is a result of the company’s commitment to sustainable business practices. Hero MotoCorp achieved prestigious recognition by winning the Sword of Honour from the British Safety Council.
Considering the launch of the Hero Destini 125, the company commenced the dispatches of the Xoom 125 scooter in March 2025. Hero MotoCorp also commenced bookings for the highly anticipated Xpulse 210 and Xtreme 250R premium motorcycles.
Hero MotoCorp announced it will make a strategic investment into the electric three-wheeler category by acquiring a significant stake in Euler Motors in March, this year. The Company’s Board has approved a strategic investment of up to Rs. 525 crores, in Euler Motors Private Limited.
