Hero MotoCorp Fiscal Sales Report: Rides High with 21.47% YoY Growth
Hero MotoCorp reports steady Q1 FY26 profits, robust sales, and an expanding electric mobility portfolio, reinforcing market leadership and growth prospects.

Hero MotoCorp is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of motorcycles and scooters in India. The brand has recently announced its financial results for the first quarter of FY 2026. Hero standalone dispatched 449,755 units in July 2025, expressing a record of 21.47% year-on-year growth in this season.
The most contributing models were seen for the Destini 125 and the Xoom 125 in the scooter segment, while in the motorcycle segment, the all-new Hero HF Deluxe Pro was recently introduced in the market. This new bike will surely increase the sales figures during the upcoming festive season.
Strong financial performance in Q1 FY’26

For July 2025, the company sees a consolidated revenue of about Rs 9,728 crore, with most of the profitable revenue accessed from operations at Rs 9,579 crore. Hero MotoCorp sold around 400,615 units of motorcycles in July 2025, which is 17.69% more than the previous year. July 2024 saw a sale of about 340,3090.
Under the brand’s portfolio, Hero’s motorcycle currently holds 89.07% share in the company. However, the scooter sales surged by 64.44% year-on-year. Net profit after tax (PAT) stood at Rs. 1,126 crore (standalone) and Rs. 1,706 crore (consolidated), indicating both resilience and growth compared to last year.
Expanding portfolio and electric mobility push
The company’s premium electric two-wheeler brand, VIDA, shares remarkable achievements in the two-wheeler segments. VIDA doubled its sales this year by 64.44%, which further gained traction with offerings like the subscription-based BaaS model and the launch of the all-new variant VX2. The company sold around 11,226 units to dealership networks and around 10,498 VAHAN registrations.
Hero MotoCorp strengthened its product lineup during the quarter. The Destini 125 and Xoom 125 scooters dominated the 125cc segment, while the HF Deluxe Pro increased the 100cc range in the market.
Outlook for the future
As per the reports, the Chief Financial Officer, Vivek Anand, commented on the positive sales performance that “our profitability and margins remained resilient, supported by strong demand and services for our entry & deluxe motorcycle and 125cc scooter segments. We are witnessing good traction in our electric mobility business, reflecting the strength of our brand in international markets.”
Looking Ahead with Sports Initiative
With such positive sales figures, Hero MotoCorp also announced a 3-year partnership with professional golfers Ashay Bhatai and Sahith Theegala as its global ambassadors. Moreover, the motorsport team of Hero has also added promising young talent Tobias Ebster to its international riders lineup.
