Honda NX500 Set to Make its Debut in India in 2024

In a much-anticipated move, Honda is gearing up to introduce the NX500 adventure bike to the Indian market in 2024. Enthusiasts have recently received promising messages from Honda BigWing dealers hinting at the imminent launch of the adventure motorcycle.

Unveiled at the prestigious 2023 EICMA, the Honda NX500 promises to redefine the adventure touring experience with its innovative features and enhancements. Taking its place in Honda's adventure lineup, it is expected to replace the popular CB500X.

The distinctive design of the NX500 includes a larger fairing with a windscreen, complemented by a cutting-edge LED headlamp. An exciting addition to the bike is the brand-new 5-inch digital instrument console featuring Bluetooth connectivity, enhancing the overall riding experience.

NX500 boasts a 471cc parallel-twin engine, now equipped with a crank counterweight and balancer shaft. Honda engineers have worked to make the engine smoother, resulting in a power output of 47 BHP and 43 Nm of torque. To further elevate the performance, the electronic control unit (ECU) has been updated to enhance acceleration.

The suspension system of the NX500 is a highlight, featuring a monoshock at the rear and a 41 mm Showa upside-down fork at the front. Braking is handled by two 296 mm front discs and a single rear disc. Notably, the bike features lightweight wheels aimed at reducing unsprung weight by 1.5 kg, contributing to an overall weight loss of 3 kg.
