Honda Shine 125 Limited Edition: Updates

The Honda Shine 125 Limited Edition brings visual upgrades that include a new Pearl Siren Blue paint scheme, giving the commuter a darker and richer appearance. The fuel tank also appears reworked with a new Shine decal on it, that looks sharper than those that comes with the standard model. Moreover, the chrome addition on the front visor, side panels, and exhaust muffler cover gives it a premium appeal. Additionally, the Pyrite Brown alloy wheels further enhance the visual appeal and set this version apart from regular variants.
Engine and Features

Mechanically, the Shine 125 Limited Edition remains familiar to the Disc variant. The bike carries away the same 123.94cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that is BS6-compliant and E20 fuel-ready. The motor is paired with a 5-speed gearbox that can produce 10.8PS of power and 11Nm of torque. Features such as the LCD instrument console, silent starter, idle stop-start system, and USB Type-C charging port are carried over unchanged.
Brakes, Dimensions, and Hardware

As the new Limited-Edition version is based on the higher-spec model, it gets 240mm front disc brake. Other than that, specifications such as 113kg kerb weight, 791mm seat height, 162mm ground clearance, 10.5-litre fuel tank, and 18-inch wheels at both ends remain the same as the standard Shine 125 Disc.
Expected Price and Launch Timeline
Honda has not made any official announcement about the pricing of the Shine 125 Limited Edition yet. However, it is expected to carry a premium of around Rs 1,000-1,500 over the Shine 125 Disc, that is currently priced at Rs 85,211 (ex-showroom, Delhi). With the bike already listed on Honda’s website, an official launch is likely to take place very soon.
Verdict
The Honda Shine 125 Limited Edition is ideal for buyers who value proven reliability but want a commuter that looks more premium and distinctive. With no mechanical changes, it makes sense mainly for style-focused buyers willing to pay a small premium for visual upgrades.
