Hyundai Celebrates First Anniversary of EXTER SUV with Launch of EXTER Knight

Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) marked a milestone today with the launch of the Hyundai EXTER Knight, a bold and sporty edition of its popular entry-level SUV, the EXTER. The EXTER Knight aims to resonate with the dynamic preferences of today's young Indian buyers, especially Gen Z and millennials.

Design and Features

The Hyundai EXTER Knight, based on the SX and SX(O) Connect variants of the EXTER, enhances the SUV's bold stance with a striking black theme. It features sporty black painted side sill garnish, red accents on the front bumper and rear tailgate, and distinctive red front brake calipers.

Powertrain Options

Available with a 1.2-liter Kappa petrol engine, customers have the choice of a 5-speed manual transmission (MT) or Smart Auto automated manual transmission (AMT).

Color Options

The EXTER Knight comes in a total of 7 colors, including three new exclusive options: Abyss Black, Shadow Grey, and Shadow Grey with Abyss Black roof. This new variant is available in both monotone and dual-tone color options, catering to diverse customer preferences.

Sales Success

The Hyundai EXTER has been well-received in the market with over 93,000 units sold since its launch.
