India’s first Mahindra Thar with Rally Cabin, See Images

Mahindra Thar has been a big hit the moment it entered Indian Market. The homegrown manufacturer has dispatched 30,000 units of the Thar and they already have around 75,000 bookings of the new Thar. The price of Thar starts at Rs. 12.78 lakhs ex-showroom and goes up to Rs. 15.08 lakhs ex-showroom. As of now, it only competes against the Force Gurkha which costs Rs. 13.59 lakhs ex-showroom and comes with a lot less equipment.

People already being customising their Thar and loving the modification. Here, we have a Thar whose cabin has been modified to a rally cabin.Also Read: This Lakhpati Sardar Orders 5 new Rolls Royce Cullinans for Diwali Celebrations

The modifications have been done by VIN 4×4 and the images are shared on their Instagram page. The shop has done a commendable job because the modification looks very neat and it does not look like it has been done by an after-market shop. The cost of the modification is not mentioned in the Instagram post.

It seems like first the rear seats of the Thar were removed and then they were replaced by the rally cabin. VIN has also installed a rear roll cage to protect the occupants inside the SUV in case the Thar rolls over. There are LED spotlights placed to lighten up the surroundings while off-roading.

The shop has also replaced the stock headlights for LED units. Additional brake lights have been installed on the rear bumper. To provide more protection while off-roading, underbody protection has been installed by the modification shop. There are also rock sliders on the sides of the SUV.

There is also an off-road spec front bumper with tow hooks and fog lamps.
