Jaguar F-Pace Ends Its Production Unit After 10 Years
Jaguar ends F-Pace production, marking the close of its ICE era with the last SUV preserved for heritage. A best-seller in India at Rs 72.90 lakh, this luxury performer paves the way for electric GTs from Solihull in 2026.

Jaguar is one of those automotive brands that has been reviving its brand presence since its inception to make EVs in the future. Many enthusiasts suggest that Jaguar has lost its glory and fails to extend its performance niche to the fans. Recently, a broader, disastrous decision led Jaguar to decide to stop producing its F-Pace model after 10 years.
Yes, you heard it right, Jaguar has finally ended the production of the F-Pace after 10 years of serving its customers. The final unit will be rolling off the assembly line at its Solihull facility in the United Kingdom. The final F-Pace has rolled out as the last internal combustion engine Jaguar, formally closing the brand’s ICE chapter and clearing the way for its all-electric future from 2026.
Jaguar F-Pace: A Decade To Serve With A Roar

The F-Pace was one of Jaguar's first ideal models, propelling the brand into the luxury SUV segment. The car was first unveiled at the 2015 Detroit Auto Show. The vehicle was launched globally in 2026, followed by the Indian launch later that year. During its initial stage, the car was powered by a diesel engine only. However, with expansion, the brand made available the modern F-Pace with petrol powertrains.
A comprehensive facelift in 2021 brought refreshed exterior styling, a redesigned interior, and upgraded technology to keep it contemporary against German rivals. For the Indian market, the car was available with a 2.0L petrol engine that produces 247 HP of power, along with a 2.0L diesel engine producing 204 HP of peak power.
Final Specification And Positioning
For the current iteration, the Jaguar F-Pace was offered internationally with a mix of petrol, diesel, mild-hybrid, and plug-in hybrid powertrains, depending on the market. Indian customers had only petrol and diesel powertrains as an option to buy. Both these engines were mated with an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission that sent power to all its 4 wheels.
The SUV’s equipment profile included premium cabin materials, advanced infotainment, a heads-up display, a 360-degree camera, massage and memory seats, and an emphasis on refinement and performance. Positioned in the Rs 70–75 lakh band in India, the F-Pace targeted buyers seeking a distinctive British alternative to established German luxury SUVs.
What’s Next?

The last Jaguar F-Pace model will be debuted for the 2026 season. With this, Jaguar also marks the end of manufacturing its internal combustion power unit for future Jaguar models. Following earlier stoppages for the XE, XF, F-Type, E-Pace, and I-Pace models. Jaguar has effectively entered a transition pause as it restates its facilities and product plans for its next-generation EV range.
Jaguar has already revealed a refreshed brand identity and new logo, previewing its forthcoming design language with the striking Type 00 concept unveiled in late 2024.
