2024 Jawa Perak has Launched at Rs 2.13 Lakh in New Delhi

Jawa Motorcycles has finally launched the 2024 edition of its flagship model, the Perak. The bike is priced at Rs 2,13,187 (ex-showroom, New Delhi). Booking for the motorcycle is open at Rs 999 (fully refundable).  Moreover, Test Rides can be booked from the official website of Jawa Motorcycles. The bike will compete with the likes of Royal Enfield Bullet 350, Harley Davidson X440, Honda Hness CB350, Triumph Speed 400, and Hero Mavrick 440.

Refinement in Gear Mechanism

To enhance the riding comfort and decrease the mechanical disturbance, the two wheeler manufacturer has featured the new updated Jawa Perak with changes in gear mechanism of 2024 Perak. With some new adjustments at the gear and integration of new gearbox cover, the motorcycle will produce less noise and vibration.

Suspension and Handling Dynamics

The updated revamped suspension system with a new 7-step preload adjustable monoshock at the rear and a better and sportier front suspension, Perak promises impressive damping capabilities and better handling dynamics. All these updations will help to bring a more responsive and controlled ride on the table.

Engine Optimization for Performance and Efficiency

However, the engine is still the liquid-cooled 334 cc which boasts power of  29 bhp at 7,500 rpm and 30 Nm at 5,500 rpm.

Talking about what Perak has housed to improve the overall engine performance, we can witness improved gear ratios and throttle mapping to the adoption of innovative piston skirt shapes and cast iron liners within the cylinder block. All these improvements will collectively help in reducing friction and provide a smoother quality ride. Additionally, to reduce the maintenance cost and enhance the overall performance, the bike is integrated with patented technology for optimising engine oil flow.

Enhanced Powertrain Features

The overall powertrain capabilities of the motorcycle have been enhanced by introducing  a larger 38mm throttle body and a new crankshaft design. Bolstering the Perak's powertrain capabilities are the introduction of a larger 38mm throttle body and a new crankshaft design. These enhancements improve the air intake, combustion efficiency, and overall engine durability, resulting in a smoother and more refined operation. Paired with a refined 6-speed gearbox featuring a slip-and-assist clutch, the Perak promises an exhilarating yet controlled riding experience.
